This years Ridler winner at the 58th Detroit Autorama Show for the first time in the history of the show is a lady - Tammy Ray from Dahlonega GA with her 1933 Phaeton. This is not the first time that Tammy has found herself among the Great 8. Just a few years back she was among the circle of the Great 8 group. Tammy, like many other women before her in the automotive industry, has broken the barrier for women in the future to realize what is in our grasp. As we stated on the previous page the award emphasizes creativity, engineering, and workmanship. When you first take a sweeping glance of Tammy's '33 Phaeton it looks so sublte, however, to fully enjoy all the engineering and creativenes that went into the build of their winner you need to stop and take a good long look at the Phaeton. Once you check over every single detail that wasn't left undone you'll soon realize why they were crowned the Ridler winner. Congratulations to Tammy and her team for a job well done.
