As with any project you want the body to be as solid as possible and this one was in pretty good condition. The only body modifications to the truck was shaving the door handles. This was a real “ Family Affair ” as everyone got involved with the bodywork, including daughter Tina and Marcia herself. After massaging the body to perfection, Travis Gregory filled his trusty paint gun with Sherwin Williams Raspberry paint and laid on several coats for that mirror finish. After the paint had time to dry it was time for Ken Klim of Klim Signs & Auto Art of Lafayette, Indiana to do some pinstriping and graphic work to bring it all together.

The last thing to do on the list was the interior. A custom formed dash was fabricated by Travis Gregory to fit the Panasonic stereo unit, and Infinity dual cone 6” speakers throughout with stereo installation credits going to Tracy Warren of Lafayette, Indiana. Gauges from Classic Instruments also take up residency in that custom built dash finished out with a Flaming River steering column topped off with a half wrapped Billet Specialty steering wheel. Lafayette Auto Trim of Lafayette, Indiana was called upon to tackle the interior with the factory bench seat and door panels all covered in teal tweed with accents. A gray small pile carpet finishes out the interior.
