Linda and George decided a leather interior is just what the old bow tie needed, so they turned the car over to the capable hands of Kurt Underwood's Upholstery in Spotsylvania, Va. Here, is where Kurt laid out his plan of attack for the beautiful '55, where everything was covered in Camel colored leather including the custom door panels, and seats. A Brown custom plush wool carpet accents the eye appealing Camel interior, and other cool items inside are a custom built overhead console, a Flaming River column topped off with a Billet Specialties "Rail" steering wheel, and Classic Instrument gauges in the Belera Tan series. The killer sounds that Linda cruises to come from a Custom Autosounds Secret Audio "SST" 10 CD Changer, with Rockford, Kenwood and Infinity speakers completing the whole package.

Linda told us that shortly after getting the car, "I asked George how long will it take you to build my '55, with him replying about 20 years. Not long after going to a few car shows that changed when we met a gentleman at a show and I asked him how long did it take him to build his car, and he said one year, and I said, ONE YEAR!!! George heard that and took off running saying, "THANKS A LOT BUDDY". Well, the joke was on George and after that, the building of the car was in full force, I was no longer looking at a 20 year build, but rather, a comforting 3 year build. Now that my car is completed, I no longer sit behind George's car answering questions, but rather sit behind my car answering questions, and now when they ask me, is this your car, it's with great pleasure I answer with a big hearty YES!"
