The story behind this car is so amazing, with all the accomplishments and history Denielle’s parents made, while blowing the competition away in the B/MP class. Denielle has occasionally taken the ’62 down the ¼ mile for fun, just to keep the memory alive. This car has made many trips up and down the famous Woodward Avenue in Detroit for the annual Woodward Cruise weekend. One could say that Denielle was involved in cars and drag racing well before she was born, due to the fact her mother was pregnant with her while racing on the ¼ mile or just cruising around town.

We met Denielle a couple of years ago up in Detroit at the Autorama show while her car was on display. After talking to her and seeing all the old pictures they had on hand, we were so impressed with the history behind this car. We knew there was a story to be told here about a lady that has been involved in cars her whole life, due to the love and passion that her parents had for the automobile. It is so cool that Denielle ended up with this ’62, the one her mother named “The Beautiful Brute”, and continues to honor their legacy.
