Yes, women like their toys too...and in some cases they like fast toys. The women you see on this page and the next two pages are just a spec of the many women who love autocross. Autocross is a safe sport that you manuever your vehicle through a defined course, which is timed. Of course the fastest time gets the prize at the end of the competition. There are many schools to teach you to drive your vehicle through defined courses at events. There are also numerous events across the U.S. to attend. I spoke with Lynda Jacobs about the schools to attend and she stated the following: Lynda told me that not only do you learn how to manuever a defined course, the school also teaches you to be a very smart defensive driver on the regular roadways. Lynda is amazed at how attentive she is when driving her daily driver to and from home. There are more women who do this sport; Stacy Tucker, Brandy Phillips, Jane Thurmond, Mary Pozzi, Jamie Stansberry, Deb McGilton, Suzy Bauter just to name a few. So if you would like to try your hand at Autocross there are plenty of women who would mentor you.
